When a job is in Pending status it means our system has not yet approved it and started distributing it to our network of job boards. Once we approve it the status will change to Active.
You can find your pending jobs under the Pending tab on your jobs dashboard.
A few reasons a job could be stuck in pending status:
Our job board partners have limited staff available during the US weekend, which delays approval for new jobs. If your job is still not active by close of business on Monday, let us know.
We have sent you a request for further information by email but have not heard back.
If you posted the job many months ago it could be stuck in an old approval process that was never completed. We send a number of follow-ups, but if those were missed, close the job and reopen it to restart the approval process.
