Betterteam Emails:
Emails from Betterteam will always come from @betterteam.com We do not use any other domain names to send emails. You will most commonly see emails from hello@betterteam.com or customersuccess@betterteam.com
Betterteam Phone Calls:
Betterteam does call employers to verify new signups and to discuss other job post and account related matters. Our team will never ask for payment details over the phone or your password. Incoming calls can have fake caller ID which match our official numbers. Important Information for Candidates:
Betterteam is an Applicant Tracking System. We help our clients (employers) post their jobs to many different job boards like Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter. Our clients will then directly contact the candidates that apply to discuss the job further.
Betterteam never contacts candidates directly via email, text message, or phone. If you are a candidate and have been contacted by anyone stating they work for Betterteam please forward the details of the conversation to hello@betterteam.com and block the sender as it is a scam.
As a candidate, you will receive emails and calls from clients of Betterteam but only for jobs you actually applied to. You may not have applied to this job on Betterteam directly. Instead, you may have applied to the job on one of our job board partners like Indeed, LinkedIn, or ZipRecruiter.
Current Scams to Be Aware Of:
Employment scammers regularly target Applicant Tracking Systems like Betterteam. Please be aware that Betterteam never texts candidates via SMS or Whatsapp. We also never email candidates directly. If you are a candidate and have received any message from Betterteam about a job offer it is always a scam. Block the sender and do not engage with them at all.
Previous Scams:
In 2024 there was a text/sms scam where candidates were being contacted about possible job opportunities with Betterteam or Betterteam clients. Betterteam never contacts candidates directly and never by text message or WhatsApp.
In February 2025 we got similar reports of emails and text messages pretending to be Bettertea,.
How to Report Scams:
Forward any relevant details such as screenshots, phone numbers, and email addresses to hello@betterteam.com Also make sure to block any suspicious numbers, mark emails as spam, and block these senders to prevent further communication.
