How do I sponsor a job on ZipRecruiter?
1. Go to Jobs and open the job you want to promote.
2. On the job's page, click Promote Job. (On mobile, you'll find it in the ••• actions menu.)
3. In the Promote window, pick ZipRecruiter, then click Sponsor on ZipRecruiter. (If the window opens on ZipRecruiter already, there's nothing to pick.)
4. Follow the prompts in the ZipRecruiter window — you stay in Betterteam the whole time.

If you're new to ZipRecruiter, the window walks you through it: confirm your account (your name and email are pre-filled from Betterteam), choose the jobs to sponsor, review the plan, and pay. Your job goes live as soon as you confirm.

How much does it cost?
ZipRecruiter sets the price — a daily rate per job on pay-as-you-go, or a job slot on a monthly subscription. Sponsored jobs reach ZipRecruiter's 100+ boards and candidate job-alert emails. You see the price and confirm it in the window before any charge.
First-time customers get a $100 credit automatically — no promo code.
You're billed monthly when your balance reaches $500 or when you pause all sponsorships, whichever comes first.
You pay ZipRecruiter directly — there's no Betterteam invoice.
How do I pause or resume a sponsorship?
Open the job, click Promote Job, and in the ZipRecruiter panel click Pause ZipRecruiter Sponsorship, then confirm. To resume, start it again from the same button anytime.
Pausing only stops the ZipRecruiter boost — your job stays live on Betterteam and keeps being distributed for free.

Once paused, your job stays live on Betterteam — it's just no longer promoted on ZipRecruiter.
How do I know a job is sponsored?
Promoted on ZipRecruiter appears next to the job's status in the job's header, and a Promoted marker appears beside the title in your Jobs list. In the Promote window, ZipRecruiter's button reads Pause ZipRecruiter Sponsorship while the sponsorship runs.
Where do my candidates go?
Applications flow into your Betterteam dashboard automatically, alongside your other applicants — nothing extra to check.
Good to know
"Action needed" next to a job means the sponsorship was paused automatically over a job or account issue. Click it to fix and restore — it affects candidate delivery.

Don't see the option to sponsor?
Make sure the job is approved.
ZipRecruiter takes jobs in the United States, Canada, and Australia only. The ZipRecruiter account you sign in with must be for the same country as the job — a US ZipRecruiter account can't sponsor a Canadian or Australian job, and their details step will refuse the postal code.
On its way means ZipRecruiter hasn't listed the job yet. That usually takes minutes after approval; you can sponsor once it's listed.
Needs attention means ZipRecruiter rejected the job's listing details. Waiting won't fix this one — get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Not available right now means we couldn't reach ZipRecruiter. Close the window and try again in a minute.
Promotion is available for accounts whose jobs Betterteam distributes to ZipRecruiter. If your job is approved and you still don't see the option, contact us.
